Today I had an appointment at 8am for root canal work at Mcdonough Endodontic Center.The greeting was warm and friendly.8:10am I was in the Dentist chair being prep for the procedure.The treatment was painless and gentil!Iam very happy that I was referred to Dr.Rolin Desir. He does excellent work! No pain very friendly and I was smiling when I left his office. That was a very pleasant experience! I felt as if I had visited a good friend. Thank you Dr Desir and staff.

Dr. Desir and Senoria are the "BEST". I've had 2 root canals and both were pain free. Prior to either procedures, I shared with the staff that I was a coward because I had an unpleasant experience with a root canal before. Dr Desir assured me I had no reason to be scared or nervous. Senoria provided excellent patient care by providing me a warm blanket, headset, words of comfort and a soft hand touch to calm me. I ctually fell asleep during the procedure. I am still pain free. If you need a root canal-Dr. Desir & Senoria are the ones you want. Thanks again

I received two root canals within a two month time-frame. Kecia, the Office Assistant was extremely pleasant, patient, and thorough in her explanation of office procedures and provided clear driving directions. She answered all of my questions with certainty. She confirmed my insurance coverage and called me back within a timely fashion. Upon arrival, Brandy assisted with the procedure. If human-cloning were legal; she should be. Brandy would be an asset to any organization. During my second Root Canal procedure, Senoria assisted. She too, should be cloned. Regrettably, I became very anxious and nervous during the second procedure and was unable to complete the Root Canal. I cried. Dr. Desir was so patient and the entire staff was completely sympathetic. Dr. Desir sent me home with a temporary filling. I returned a few weeks later and was sedated. Again, Brandy assisted with the procedure. She shared stories about her son (I think to relax me.) Dr. Desir was so kind, patient and gentle. He even called me later that evening to see how I was recovering (I think on his way home because I could hear traffic in the background.) The following day, Kecia called. I cannot express enough kind words about the staff of McDonough Endodontic Center. Dr. Desir has created a working environment that provides quality service and high quality staff who function as a team and are caring, sensitive, and patient.

To be honest I was scared of going to the dentist and found myself putting it off till the last minuet, going to McDonough Endodontic Center really assured me that going to the dentist can be pain free and not scary at all. Thank you very much you really helped me.

With 2 root canals done I can say this office was by far the best choice. I was well taken care of and they also called to check on me the next day. Very pleased with the service I received. I would recommend them with high prasie.

I travelled from Douglasville GA to this dentist. I trust them completely in whatever they tell me needs to be done. I dont feel like its about the money but all about the health of my teeth. Love the staff also.

Like most dental patients, I abhor going to the dentist. However, my experience at the McDonough Endodontic Center was a welcome surprise. Conscientiously and continually checking on my comfort, the Doctor and his staff completed the procedure with almost zero discomfort ... other than three hands and two elbows in my mouth at the same time ... just kidding. This was the first root canal I had in my 63 years of life. Of course you hear all the stories of how painful and terrible a root canal can be. I must say that Dr. Desir and his staff made sure I was comfortable and pain free during the procedure. I mean not one bit of pain from the start to finish. If I ever have to have another root canal in the future it is no doubt I will go back to Dr. Desir and his staff. Great customer service from signing in to the end of the procedure.

I WAS AFRAID TO GET A ROOT CANAL THE DR. WAS SO GENTLE ON ME I FELL ASLEEP, HE PUT ALL MY WORRIES AND FEARS TO REST.

When I was referred to Dr. Desir, I needed a root canal through a crown. I was so very nervous but as soon as his assistant came into the room, she talked to me and helped to calm me. Then when Dr. Desir came in, he assured me he would take good care of me. The treatment I received here was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.  They also made sure I understood what would take place. I would definitely go there again if needed another root canal.

I had a near "panic attack" during my root canal. I was comforted by the doctor and assistant who made an adjustment in the usual procedure to accommodate me. I would not hesitate to return to this office if necessary.

On August 7, 2012, I was referred to Dr. Desir by my primary dentist. I needed two root canals, 1 to an upper anteriors tooth and 1 to an upper premolar tooth which needed to be performed through a 3-teeth bridge. On August 15, 2012, my first visit, I received a very warm greeting from Dr. Desir's office staff upon arrival. Dr. Desir performed the 2 root canals the same day. He communicated detailed steps that he was taking throughout the procedures. A few days later, I called Dr. Desir's office because of complications I was experiencing, he immediately had me come in to the office to evaluate the problem. It appears that I had experienced some unexpected swelling and soreness. In order to comfort me and put my mind at ease, Dr. Desir allowed me to come back for an additional visit at no charge to ensure that I was healing properly. The final visit proved to me that Dr. Desir demonstrates compassion for his patients.

I have not had a root canal in 30 years...and I had bad memories from the first one....so I was kind of dreading it....and requesting gas or stronger meds. But Dr. Desir promised I wouldn't feel a thing. I have to admit....it was not that bad. It was actually a very good experience. I was shocked that I didn't need pain medicine and wasn't even sore the next day. So I give Dr. Desir an A+. I will definitely recommend him to my friends. Thank you for taking what could have been a very bad memory and making it easy and pretty much....pain free!! Who else can say that about a root canal?

I was referred to Dr. Desir by my primary dentist for a root canal. I was very nervous because of a past bad experience with another dentist. The experience was extremely pleasant. In the past dental procedure I was never numb enough. Not this time I never felt any pain and the experience was First Class from the appointment to the root canal. AWESOME!!!!

I have been to several Endodontists through the years. My experience with Dr Desir and staff was one of caring and dedication. If ever I need an Endodontist in the future it will be Dr Desir and his team.

Let me begin by saying a dentist chair is not my favorite place to be, but my experience with this organization definitely deserves mentioning. From the moment I walked in, the staff was so pleasant and helpful. Kecia's demeanor was so genuinely warm and professional. Then my next encounter was with Brandy and she reassured me that all would be well and even held my hand and patted my shoulder when I needed it. She started interesting conversations that took my mind off my pain for awhile. Once Dr.Desir walked in, his demeanor was very warm, charming and professional. I knew that I was having some serious issues, but he reassured me that he would do everything to save my teeth. I have seen many doctors in my lifetime , but no one has made me feel so secure when experiencing a medical problem. On my second trip, I met Senoria, again another staff member that was warm and sincere in providing me with the service I needed. All of my experiences has been very positive and I believe it is this way because it starts at the top. Dr Desir demonstrates what he desires his staff to demonstrate and I appreciate their professionalism. Thanks to all of you and I will recommend you to others.

I was referred to Dr. Desir for a root canal. Although I feel I have a high tolerance for pain, I was nervous about the procedure. Brittany was the first face I saw and she was very friendly which means alot when going to a new establishment. Brandy, Dr. Desir's assistant for my procedure was fantastic and very friendly. Dr. Desir was very professional and they both explained the process to me. Needless to say, my procedure was absolutely pain free! They continued to check on my comfort throughout the procedure. I closed out with Keisha who explained my discharge process and was also very pleasant. I would recommend him hands down to anyone needing an endodontist.

Unfortunately, I have had more root canals than I want to remember. But by far Dr. Desir performed the best root canals. He is indeed a master of his craft. I have had two root canals performed by him and on both occasions, he did an excellent job. Root canals can be very painful but Dr. Desir knows the proper nerve to numb because I found myself singing in the chair as he performed the task. (Of course there was some pain but nothing close to what I have experienced with my prior dentists or endodontic). Thank you Dr. Desir for having a steady hand and an excellent plan to get the job done. You are God sent!!!!

The staff at this establishment know how to talk to their patients and they are all so very pleasant . Brittany answered my call for directions and when I got there, she greeted me pleasantly, I was called in  a few minutes later into the treatment room  by Brandy, she was very sensitive to listening to all I had to say and was compassionate and kind . She also comforted me during my root canal by lightly touching my arms in a soothing gentle way . Dr Desir was such a gentleman, he explained everything  to me and was patient to my ignorance of where I thought my pain was coming from.  After my diagnosis he came up a plan of action that I was very pleased with. The root canal was pain free and he never left me in the chair alone . He left  the room only for the anesthetic to take effect . The whole experience was positive and I am a very happy patient . Dr Desir and team restored my faith that there are still practices with good customer service out there today . Dr Desir has a real genuine passion for what he does. He is one of the few professionals I have met with in my 40 years that has exceeded my expectation . I am not one for writing reviews , I just had to speak up on an awesome team !

It is a very hospitable environment and this positive atmosphere reflects on the people. They do a fantastic job, that is why after treatment you leave with a smile. There is nothing as good as seeing the doctor when you are in pain and wearing a smile when the treatment is over.

The term” root canal” use to send chills down my spine. This is no longer the case after visiting The McDonough Endodontic Center. The front desk was occupied with a friendly staff offering prompt service. Most of my paperwork was prepared online and all that was required was proof of identification and my signature. A huge difference from the sit and wait while holding a clipboard so many others offices still require. Dr. Desir explained my procedure in detail, answering questions which added to my comfort level. Using state of art equipment, x-rays made great visual aid as he discussed his plan to complete the procedure. Senoria , his assistant was very alert, assisting the doctor while maintaining focus on my needs as well. She kept me in good spirits and continually ensured me that I was doing well. I had a really good experience. I’m usually too busy to sit and share these types of experiences, but I was really happy with Dr. Desir and his staff. I would recommend them to anyone hoping for a similar experience.

Yesterday I had a root canal and honestly I was a little afraid. I had heard all types of stories and read about them on the internet. Let me tell you my experience was nothing like what I had read or heard. Let me start by saying that the staff was extremely friendly which eased my nerves. The procedure went very well. They constantly communicated with me to make sure that I was comfortable and wasn't in any pain. Well I am pleased to say that I never felt a thing. It has been about 24hrs and I still haven't experienced any pain. I was afraid for nothing! Last but not least the staff called and emailed me today to make sure I was okay and to check to see if I needed anything. I would definitely refer McDonough Endodontic Center to my family, friends and co-workers.

Had to have a root canal. They got me in and out. He greeted me with a smile.Friendly staff. The best. I would recommend to others.

I would rather have Dr. Desire do a root canal than a dentist fill a cavity. That's how good he is!!!

The most pleasant, professional, and caring team of personnel! The facility is so clean and beautiful! Such a wonderful environment! Before you even get to the chair for your procedure or service you can tell it is going to be a great visit! I had a root canal through my crown and I was really afraid of not making it through the procedure without experiencing my usual pain and the dreadful sound of the tools and instruments. Like most of the people I too dislike going for any type of dental service! I was recommended to Dr. Desir and I can NOT stop talking about the Super experience I had at this facility! They are very knowledgeable and a caring TEAM!
